The Level 3 Teaching Qualification we offer is the ideal foundation course for anyone looking to teach in the adult education and skills sector. You can take this course regardless of your skill level to start on the path towards your career goal and learn at a pace which suits you since it’s completely online-based learning.

The Level 3 AET has approximately 48 hours of study time and, including research and assessment time, takes approximately 120 hours to complete. You can choose how you wish to divide these hours. You may wish to complete the course in a matter of weeks or spread it over the entire twelve months.

The Level 3 Award in EAT online course (Education and Training) covers:

• your role in relation to teaching

• appropriate teaching and learning approaches within a specialist area

• session planning skills

• how to deliver inclusive sessions that motivate learners

• the use of different assessment methods

• the need for accurate record keeping and procedures that can be adopted

Who is this course for?

Designed for individuals who would like to deliver workplace learning within a formal setting for their organisation to adult learners.

The qualification is supported by the Education and Training Foundation and can support a role in the workplace or prepare learners to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level.
